Natalie O’Keeffe was born in London, 1990 and is now an artist, teacher and commercial photographer based in the midlands. Between 2009 to 2013 O'Keeffe received her BA (Hons) and Masters degree in Fine Art at the Birmingham School of Art and she is currently a teacher of Art.

O'Keeffe has worked on projects with 'The QE Hospital', Birmingham, 'Junction Festival', Wolverhampton, 'Artrix Gallery', Bromsgrove, The River Festival', Stratford to name a few as both a Fine Art and Commercial Photographer.

Symmetry, balance and the sublime that resonates within quiet or deserted everyday environments are at the center of O’Keeffe’s work. Through using photography as a medium she explores the notion of reality and familiar spaces, which are transformed representing a disquieting sense of the uncanny. O’Keeffe’s work denotes the relationship between light, geometric shapes and lines which structure the rural and urban environments in which she works and lives. She plays with the expectations a viewer has of everyday recognisable places when represented as a photograph, and encourages the viewer to search for something that is not quite right.
